Ginger Shroom Journey

This game was originally a student-made project. It's still technically a prototype, but it was complete enough and I had to move on to another school project. I also uploaded this game here to Steam just to learn how to get something on here for any of my future projects, which is another reason why it's free! 

Contrary to what the Settings menu says, Settings are not coming soon. I unfortunately lost the original project files and therefore won't be able to revisit this project, at least in this form. Maybe a sequel of sorts one day, but for now this prototype has served it's purpose for me.

Description:

Collect the coins! Because it's fun! Embrace the power of the mushrooms and find the escape. Keep an eye out for traps and monsters, as some may surprise you... Iron Man permadeath mode has been implemented for you hardcore

gamers that want to do speedruns or time yourself--once you've learned the stages of course.

Controls:

Player Movement - WASD or Arrow Keys for directions

Jump - Space Bar

Shoot - L-Shift (can hold)

Use Ladders - W and S to Climb Or Descend

Pause Menu - Escape Key
