Soulscroll combines third-person combat, settlement building and roguelite progression in a procedurally generated fantasy world. Gather resources, recruit workers and defend your Great Hall against Goblin sieges—alone or with friends.

Grow stronger, prepare the summoning ritual and face the enemy you were created to defeat.

Build a Settlement Worth Defending

Gather wood, stone and other resources to raise your Great Hall and turn an empty stretch of wilderness into a working settlement. Construct specialized production buildings, recruit workers and fortify your borders.

You decide when to start the next siege. Prepare your defenses, strengthen your equipment and fight beside your defenders when the Goblins arrive.

Your Great Hall is the heart of everything you have built. If it falls, your run is over.

Fight and Grow Stronger

Explore dangerous biomes, battle monsters with different weapons and equip magical Soul Scrolls. Level up, choose improvements and unlock additional Scroll slots to develop your character throughout the run.

Your settlement supports your survival, but you still have to face the dangers beyond its walls yourself.

Play Together in Co-op

Venture into the world alone or invite friends into your active run. Gather resources, explore dangerous territory and build the same settlement together.

When the next siege begins, stand side by side to defend your Great Hall.

You can have one active run at a time.

Summon Valdris the Flawless

The monumental wall surrounding the world is not protection. It is a prison—and an ancient seal holding Valdris the Flawless beyond physical reality.

An ancient safeguard has written your Unwritten Soul into this realm: someone without a predetermined fate, created to confront the enemy beyond the wall.

Build the ritual altar and prepare a statue in Valdris’s perfect likeness. Draw him from the Blank Page into a mortal vessel, break the seal by choice and defeat him once and for all.

Survival prepares you for the final confrontation. You choose when to summon it.

Rewards With Real Consequences

Earn scroll currency during your adventures and spend it in the main menu to open reward chests containing weapons, Soul Scrolls and other valuable items.

Bring equipment into future runs, improve eligible equipment through crafting or offer eligible items on the Steam Community Market.

But persistent does not mean safe. Persistent items you bring into a run are destroyed if your death becomes permanent. Choose carefully what you are prepared to risk.

Write the Ending Yourself

You were not born a hero. You were written into a sealed world because its ancient safeguard needed someone without a predetermined fate.
